958 Animals in West Jakarta Vaccinated Against Anti Rabies

The West Jakarta Food Security, Maritime and Agriculture Sub-agency (KPKP) recorded that it had vaccinated 958 rabies-infecting animals from January to February 19, 2024.

West Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head, Novy C Palit said the 958 animals vaccinated consisted of 807 cats, 146 dogs, and five monkeys.
"Rabies vaccinations are held routinely, to maintain the status of the city of Jakarta as a rabies-free area since 2004," she expressed, Wednesday (2/21).

"We'll keep providing rabies vaccination until the end of the year with a target of over 8,967 animals. With vaccinations, pets also become much healthier," she said.
